Apptek is an IT provider that is based in VA-US. They developed the first industry-level English/Arabic/Chinese/Korean/Turkish/Persian Machine Translation systems and Voice Recognition systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Prepare project plan and Assign tasks to other team members.

·         Design database structure and user Interface layout.

·         Implement project requirements.

·         System support through phone, emails and visits for customers inside and outside Jordan.

Sample of Projects:

·         Implement Transcriber tool using C#.

·         Implement web tools for Voice Recognition System using C#.

·         Implement COM objects as a middle tire between the interface and the Translation Engine using VC++.

·         Integrate the Translation APIs with Microsoft Office and other applications using VBA.

·         Implement parsers using C++.

·         Design and implement a module that does the marking of Arabic text (adding Fatha, Damah, Kasra or skon according to the Arabic grammar) Using ANSI C.

·         Build a document management system to store sentences and their translations Using SQL server db, Microsoft Access interface, ADO and DAO.

·         Prepare Setups using Installshield X.
